What a day for Clarinbridge Camogie & GAA Club.
On Sunday 14th June, players, families, volunteers, supporters, sponsors and friends of the club came together to celebrate Community Club Day 2026 and the official opening of our new Ball Wall & Astro Facility.
The new facility marks the first major milestone delivered under our Pathway to 2030 Facilities Development Initiative – a €1.4 million vision to strengthen our club and community for future generations.
From Go Games and juvenile blitzes to ball wall demonstrations, face painting, music and family fun, the grounds were filled with energy, laughter and community spirit throughout the afternoon. The highlight of the day was the official opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony, proudly carried out by our Clarinbridge and Galway Minor hurler Cathal Donoghue and Senior Camogie player Saoirse Counihan on behalf of the next generation of Clarinbridge Camogie and GAA.
This project has only been possible through the dedication of volunteers, the generosity of donors and sponsors, the support of grant funding bodies, and the commitment of our wider community. Thank you to everyone who has played a part in bringing this facility to life.
Pathway to 2030 is about much more than buildings and facilities. It is about creating opportunities, friendships, memories and a place where future generations of Clarinbridge players can learn, grow and belong.
The journey continues. With Phase 1 now delivered, we look forward to the next stages of Pathway to 2030 and invite our community to continue building this legacy with us
